Makani is a non-governmental organization and local community center is officially registered under 954 number that directly benefits the families of Burj El Barajneh camp in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Lebanon. Makani offers sponsored initiatives in youth education and development, women’s economic and social empowerment, and improving family life.

Makani’s mission is to empower the local community in Burj Al-Barajneh camp through targeted initiatives in education, women’s and youth empowerment, economic development, family life, and youth development.
